The 'funny rocks' are tufa, I think.

That's a rich zone, mostly famous for trilobites, but i found none .

I found some fossils of plants in the waste heap of Lodève and Graissessac, so no rare pieces i'm afraid. But considering that it was the first time i went there and that the site of Graissessac in itself is now closed to the public, it's a good beginning. I'll loose less time in searchings when i'll come back there.

I thought that could be volcanic.

On the other side of the road, in front of the tracks of reptiles i found that little funny thing and wondered if it was due to dessication or something else. It is concave.

They are pre-mammalian tracks, all i know is that. I'll look for more précisions on them.

In the Museum of Lodève we also visited, there is a moulded trail and a natural one.
