I also have these "things" and I don't know what they are. There were two pieces but one of them broke because I dropped it :( so now there are three pieces. But they are as hard as rock. There is a hollow hole that travels throughout both pieces. I found them right next to each other so they connect. I hope you could tell me what they are. Thanks!

Not possible without pictures.

The piece pictured looks like a concretion.

I am trying to upload the pictures but I can't because it says only 3.95 MB could be uploaded

Refresh the page , if the pictures are small enough (there is a 3.95 meg limit per post).

Can We see some close up pictures of the broken ends?

Does resemble branches, but could be burrow cast or a rizolith concretion.

I would still like to see better pictures of the first pieces broken surfaces.

Good clear close up pictures of the ends will help to determine what You have.

So you want me to take pictures of the ends of the things?

Yes, please.

They need to be as close as You can get and stay in good focus. Use the camera's micro setting.  It will help to do it in direct sunlight with the piece setting on a solid surface.

It is definitely a concretion, but it is actually very interesting and I would keep it. Most concretions are much smaller than this one.

I have found these tree branch looking thing before in the Wenonah formation in the past....... I wonder myself from time to time if they may have come from some kind of burrow because they all ways found in a up right position .
