I am not sure what you mean but if you mean that the site isnt bigger than it appears to be in my picture you are right ...

So here are some more teeth, which I found there.

Unprepped condtion:

After the preparation with a needle:

Haizahn22.JPG.7a2bd831018a2471a5b207a405a1e6ee.JPG

Its very small (only 0.8 cm long).

On the same stone is a nice gastropod. Too bad that I cant really prep it.

Schnecke.JPG.02617d2ddc8cec6e2642eeea51c6993d.JPG

The next one is also very small with a length of 1 cm:

During the prep it fell out of the stone and I had to glue it ... As you can see my prep work wasnt optimal but I am satisfied with it ;)

Some more isolated teeth:

And this 1.2 cm long Sphenodus tooth:

Hey Sebastian,

Can You post some pictures of the serrated and hexagonal pieces? (the 2 on the right side.)

Would like to see all sides and an end on picture, please.

Thanks,

Tony

1) Yes, that's what I meant! Quite a few fossils from that small patch.

2) well, I would prefer the smell of limey sedimentary rock, myself.. Love that smell. Unless it's been in the dirt too long, then it just smells like dirt!  ^_^

Your shark teeth are indeed magnificent (congrats on finding so many really pretty ones!!!), but I have to say that I love that coiled nautiloid - beautiful!

Hi Tony,

with my bad camera it's going to be very difficult to take such close-up pictures ...

Can I ask you why do you want to see them?

Do you really think that it's necessary to seal them?

I am pretty sure that's a shark tooth as well. It looks kinda typical for Sphenodus teeth.

They do not look like shark teeth that I am familiar with.
