NSR Plesiosaur Paddle??? Need ID on this one

This was found in a gravel bar on the North Sulphur River in Ladonia, Texas. (Late Cretaceous) I’m curious if it’s the paddle portion of a Plesiosaur? Very smooth bone that tapers down and becomes thicker on one side.  Nearly 4 inches long. Any help is appreciated. :)

I think it is but just a guess based on the following picture.  Note the outline of the paddle end of yours follows well with the paddle end of this one.  And it looks like bone in your first photo....

And this one looks even closer, IMHO.

have you tried cleaning it up a bit?

I’ve cleaned it a bit with vinegar, but I didn’t want to damage it. I might give it another quick bath to expose more of the surface.

Honestly, that was my first impression too. :)

I get a distinct fish vibe from the preservation of the specimen.

A good clear photo of the broken edge would tell but as yet I can not see marine reptile of any kind.

Will concede to those with better local knowledge of the preservation found in the area but to me fish material.

I think turtle shell also. Turtle & plesiosaur are both rare finds for NSR so still a good find. Here's one I found in that area for comparison.
