PaleoNoel
Hey everyone! Feels like it's been a while since I've posted any of my finds. Life is busy as it can be at the moment so it's hard to find a time to post regularly. Here is a section of reptile jaw I found at a microsite in the Lance formation of eastern Wyoming. It was initially identified as belonging to a champsosaur, but I wanted to see what people thought on the forum. jpc
I think champsosaurs have smoother skull texture than crocs. This has definite croc texture as seen in your third photo. Also, the teeth are more crocish. Crocodilian. Piece of maxilla or premax. Fun piece.

I was struggle a bit to distinguish the two as I'm no expert in either reptile's anatomy. And @jpc is right, I was thrilled when I found it!
