The subject of this article is probably old news....but they spent a significant amount of space highlighting the importance of amateur collectors and thanking them for their contributions.  Thought it might be nice to read about that

Me too... I wish I could be one of those amateurs collecting Cambrian and Precambrian fossils, but I may be able to make a contribution with my local Cretaceous stuff.
