ynot Posted September 22, 2018 Share Posted September 22, 2018 It is probably a mix of calcite and quartz. Test the hardness of the different areas to see if they will scratch with a knife. It does not look right for a geode to Me. Rather has the appearance of a chunk of a mineralized vien. 2 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys."
