sorry again, i dont know what the species of these specimens are and also sorry for some reason parts of the photos were cropped made smaller i think its because i put too much on there so they had to cut down the file size (:

And try not to hold the specimens. Place them on a plain background surface.

Assuming UK again:

1)Could be Ceratomya, Jurassic - would help to see the whole thing where it's under your finger!

 

2)Possibly Gryphaea.

 

3)Modiolus, Jurassic

 

All those are just the genera by the way. Species is harder and usually needs the location which of course you don't have with this old collection.

A lesson to all of us to firmly attach the location to our fossils. (I'm not as good as I should be about this...  )
