Photo is a bit out of focus. Looks like it could be a broken chunk of vertebrae. Lets see what others have to say.

I agree, bone, and likely a piece of a vertebra.

Looks like a mammoth foot bone. They find them in Texas.

Many times I've wondered how much there is to know.

+1 for bone due to the "holes" or whatever you call them.

Little holes: cancellous bone.

Big hole: foramen.

I agree with bone.  If it was a corral it would be filled with tiny horses.

Don

How do you know it isn't? The pics are kinda blurry. :muahaha:

People have different spelling abilities.

Do NOT poke fun at them

If it was not for "spell check" I would be in a world of hurt.

  • Fossildude19 changed the title to Coral or Bone?

The proliferation of misspellings is often related to the device used.

Phones and tablets are the bane of my spelling. :(

My fingertips are too big for the tiny smartphone keyboards.

Also, if I don't select the word I typed, auto-correct usually mangles it beyond comprehension. :P
