I can't find any pictures of dino skull bone structure. Does anyone have any, or know where to find any cross sections, or pictures of skull fragments where you can see the internal structure? Preferably the forehead/top

You might want to narrow down which dino you are most interested in.

I am sure there are differences from one type to another.

That's some awesome info, thanks!!! What I actually mean though, is the structure of the bone itself. Like if it's spongy and porous looking, or more solid, or many different types, depending on where? I have parts of a triceratops skull, so I can see some areas of theirs around the brain case, but I would imagine right around the braincase could be very different than the rest, and since dinos like them have very different skulls in many ways, than theropods, and upright dinos, it's not a good comparison. I was originally wondering about lambeosaurus, especially around the base of the crest.

Sounds like you want CT scans. Luckily some are freely available to download.

Though no Lambeosaurus, there are scans available of Joe the baby Parasaurolophus. I would actually love to get my hands on some Lambeosaurus scans as well :P

The link to the raw scan files are in this publication:
