Cyclocardia VS Cerastoderma: Cerastoderma's are much more bulky (also generally bigger). Also their umbo comes in, while the umbo of Cyclocardia's are generally much more "flat". Finally if you look at the hinge, it's also really different. Even though they look a lot alike, they're actually from completely different families: Cyclocardia is part of the Carditidae, while Cerastoderma is part of the Cardiidae (yes, that's only one letter difference; lots of confusion!)
