How old do you think this fossilized sea biscuit is? I found it today at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 3 weeks post Hurricane Florence.

Never heard one called a sea biscuit before! Though I have heard of a race-horse called that. Sorry I cant help with the age, but its a nice find. Welcome to the forum from New York!

It’s mortoni. They have the round periproct while Kellumi will have a slit. This is from the Cretaceous Peedee Formation.
