Crazyhen
This is a juvenile Psittacosaurus from Liaoning. Could you let me have your view on its authenticity and whether it is a composite? Thanks!
Darktooth
What a very interesting ashtray! I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
ynot
I think it is a composite and the snout has something wrong with it. Several of the bones and the tail look to have a different state of preservation than other parts. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." LordTrilobite
Anatomically it seems correct. But I find it telling that nearly all these types of specimens have very similar postures. The torso looks mostly real but I wouldn't be surprised if the head and tail were composited on. Especially the tail looks suspicious. 1 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
Pemphix
Yes, tail and skull looking like a composite for me, too. Proportions does not fit good. And some positions of the "hands" and "feets" looking odd for me...
