Found in a river bed at an elevation of 6,200 to 6,100 in owyhee county, Idaho. No known formation not sure if it's bark or what it is. Thanks ahead of time

has the look of cliona fillings left behind after dissolution of a thin shell. This is a wild guess but thought the post needed a bump.

The orange in this rock is limonite, which we have a lot of around here. It makes the fossils hard to identify unfortunately.  In my experience they seem to be broken down a bit more from the presence of this mineral?  Anyways, I have no knowledge of your area but the lines towards the bottom of your pic looks like bits of calamites to me.  Do you know if your area is carboniferous?
