Mille lacs

My wife and I will be visiting the Mille Lacs area and possibly the north shore of superior around Thanksgiving. Does anyone know of sites they are willing to share? I always love finding Pleistocene terrestrial teeth and bones, but would also be interested in trilobites. Thanks!

Late reply, but you won't find any fossils in northern Minnesota.  Not the right type of rocks.  But plenty of agates to be found at Brighton Beach if that interests you.

Well actually theres plenty of fossils. Theres a fossil park in NE Minnesota that have createous fossils. Then corals have been found in scattered locations, usually from glacial deposits since lava can't 100% destroy large reefs of coral. Sandstone is also found along north shore thou fossils are not found there.
