Is there a place on this forum to find other amateur fossil hunters in your area that would like to meet up and go look for fossils? Other than my kids, who don’t always have the patience to search through rocks with me, I don’t really have another fossil hunting buddy.

A safe way to meet people with similar interests is to join a rock/fossil/mineral club in your area.  ;)

Not only will you meet people, but learn about area fossils and minerals, as well as have field trips to places that may be inaccessible to  individuals. :)
