daves64
I don't know whether to laugh or cry on this one. Found an enrolled Trilobite in my micro matrix. Gave it a nice spa treatment of hydrogen peroxide & got most of the matrix off. And then took a look at it with my dino lite & found that it has almost no head. Thing is maybe 3.5 mm across and the one thing I didn't actually expect to find. No idea if it can even be identified now, but here's the pics anyway. Pics are 45 x magnification. Jasper Creek Formation. Late Pennsylvanian. Accomplishing the impossible means only that the boss will add it to your regular duties.

Kane
I'm with the others. I don't know of any trilobites that would have striations along the saggital axis. Pennsylvanian age trilobites would be exclusively proetids, and their cephala would be either smooth/effaced, or have faint growth lines that would contour the cephalic border. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
FossilDAWG
It's a bellerophontid gastropod. Something along the lines of Pharkedonotus or Bellerophon. Don (source for photo)
FossilDAWG
BTW the outer whorl is broken off, so the "umbilicus" on both sides projects out.
