sponge or crinoid?

sponge or crinoid? ... the way I am looking at is the small part is a stem?...and then the cup shape the other end?....or is the large cup shape is where it attached to something? and the small stem part is just that the base of a stem or it could be another miss.

Looks like a rock. Do you know what age it is? Formation?

gotten from a load of gravel from the Brazos river west of Houston texas not sure of the age.

I can see what you are thinking about, but I think, it will be difficult to say anything beside a rock.:headscratch:
