I do creek sifting in gainsville mostly , I've only been to peace river a few times . I live up in the panhandle so I dont get to go often

Small items take up less space. ;)

Great collection! I use gem jars for the small stuff as well. They make 2 inch jars for bigger items as well

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!

You might want to make small identification cards like @Pagurus did. ( Look in the microfossil section.) Just use larger cards with less writing.

Hi williamrock,

I'm Rob, I live in Niceville. You mentioned looking around Gainsville. Have you found any fossils around our area, or even arrow heads?  Are there any half way decent places to look around here? Ive thought about looking in some of the creeks in the area, but not sure how to start.
