Nut, seed, or egg?  Discovered near Ashwood,  Oregon.  Outer shell cracked open at end.   Golden hue inside specimen.

Looks like a concretion or a nodule.

What part of Vancouver are you in now? I was born & raised there & watched it grow. 

Accomplishing the impossible means only that the boss will add it to your regular duties.
