Fossildude19 Posted October 28, 2018 Share Posted October 28, 2018 It could also be a suggestively shaped erosion pattern. We need the context of where it was found and size. If this was found in an area known for footprints, with the correct geology, that would be a good indicator that it is a footprint. Conversely, if it was found near Devonian outcrops, that would rule out footprint. Snaplolpvp Posted October 28, 2018 Author Share Posted October 28, 2018 I found it by a waterfall near the border between Michigan and Wisconsin. It was about the size of a normal foot. The waterfall runs about 50 feet from the print. It looks volcanic and there is no sign of any volcano but the rock is smooth and slanted on other places. Also it rained.
