yes, we got them, we found two extra vertebrae while extracting those 3 . the 3 on top came out perfectly and still in a blok of matrix, but the other 2 broke during the dig. we did bring the broken bits home, we will see if we can salvage them.

Looks like it was quite a trip with some nice scenery and finds. The ventrally crushed ammonites are quite interesting in their own distorted way.

A jig saw puzzle to be put together on a cold wet winter's day when its not fit to be out and about.

Wow that's big :dinothumb: The Ichthyosaur vertebrae in Holzmaden are usually about 3-4 cm big. So again a huge Congrats to you two :ighappy: Please share pictures when you prepped them!
