dinosaur tooth

I don't see any tooth here, it could be geological like a concretion or a burrow cast. :)

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

There is no enamel, no root structure, no tooth morphology, no serrations. 

I agree, it appears to be an ironstone/limonite concretion.

@kachinacountry What petrified forest are you referring to. The Petrified Forest National Monument is in eastern Arizona not western Arizona. If we have a better locality we can then look at the rocks and formations in the area to help give a better ID to your rock.

There probably is a very slim chance of it. Concretion does nucleate on biologic items sometimes. The odds of it being proven are even slimmer though I'm afraid.
