I was just wondering as I collect most of my fossils in Dorset and that is very far away so I rarely get to go

Not an expert but the Isle of Sheppey is very good.

I love the Isle Sheppey . Some really interesting fossils can be found there. I have fossilised plant seeds, bird bones, shark teeth, crabs , fish vertebrae , snake vertebrae, starfish and more.

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!

Do you mean the London Clay?

Nice ammonites, but I suspect the front row is not from Dorset.

The big ones are but the little ones are from Madagascar I think
