I agree with it being geologic, but it sure does look really cool!

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

As already said, its a somewhat weird chalcedony formation.

However, where does this specimen come from? And how did you end up with "carcharodon", "florida" and "pliocene" in the tags?

sorry about the tags I just had no idea what category to put it under. Also sorry about the quality of the pictures, I found it in Arizona where I live, and I don’t know anything about fossils really.
