fugs71
Any help that anyone can give me would be absolutely fabulous I'm a mature student trying to write her dissertation and I'm a bit lost Although I don't think it's essential to know what the fossils I find are, I think it would be nice to have a name , but not even the mighty Google has been much help! I also have a few more samples I may post later, if its not too much trouble cheers, Nicky
Archie
Welcome to TTF! These are beautiful specimens! There is a list of plant species found at Hayburn Wyke on this page https://ukfossils.co.uk/2007/03/18/hayburn-wyke/. The silvery particles in the sandstone are likely mica. Bronzviking
Welcome to the Forum from sunny Florida! Awesome plant fossils! Looking in my fossil book it looks like a seed fern, similar to Neuropteris. This is not an ID....wait for others that are experts in plants. abyssunder
I'm not a plant guy, so I'm just wondering why they can't be Cladophlebis (Todites).
