Alexander D.G
Hello everybody, This is far from a complete specimen but it is still one of my favorite fossils because its the only trilobite i've ever found. But let's get to the point shall we, I cant recall where the fossil was found. The trilobite is around 9 cm tall. Hoping ýou guys can shed some light on what species of trilobite it is, thanks in advance!
Bobby Rico
Sorry not a trilobite as Kane said wrong place wrong time. I have added a little bit of contrast to your photo to see if it will help with an ID I hope you don’t mind.
Alexander D.G
If it's not a trilobite then what could it be?

Alexander D.G
It's hard to photograph this since the fossil is mostly 2D but some parts of the imprint are deeper in the stone than others parts.
FossilDAWG
It does look to be a bivalve, possibly an inoceramid. In the view Tim posted, the umbo or "beak" is at the top, and the shell is marked by concentric ribs and "growth lines".
