Scale pattern Id: Cenomanian (cretaceous reptile skin) In Burmese amber.

I need help with this scale pattern. Snake or lizard? Cenomanian cretaceous

Cool. My gut reaction is lizard...femoral pores on the leg...but that's just a s.w.a.g.

Is there a definitive way of telling between the 2? Femoral pores?  I see no pores?

There is no definitive way of telling?  I thought that the scales would help distinguish it
