Wild Boar Tusk?

We found this in the gravel bed of a creek today in Grayson County, TX. I'm assuming it's a wild boar tusk.  What do you guys think? Is it most likely old or modern? Thanks for any help. :)

Yes, I think you're right 

Looks like a boar's tusk to me.

And fairly recent, I would say.

Imagine, turning the corner in the stream bed and the owner of that tusk is standing there, 10 feet from you, and he's hungry............
