Hi people!

I need help for identifying these two canine roots. They were found in some Cave in Southeastern Serbia, along with Cave Bear,Cave Hyena,Bison and Deer bones.

I got this as a gift from my friend who has found them also this smaller partial tooth which i think also that is from a Cave Hyena.

He thinks that the roots belongs to Cave Hyena canines. On the last picture u can see the scale with his teeth collection and with 3 teeth that he gave me.

Thanks

All I can do is add some of my Crocuta crocuta teeth for comparison. I hope it helps.

I can’t help much with the ID as I have no experience with Cenozoic mammals but here’s some posts and pictures to compare with. Good luck!

I have doubt as to whether there is enough there to make an accurate determination as to the original owner of these pieces.

i made a comparision with brown bear lower canine root and it does have similarites, but tricky is actually smaller root of other  canine cause it is little bent..The third is Cave Hyena thats what is for sure
