Paciphacops Posted December 9, 2018 Share Posted December 9, 2018 The Natchez Trace in TN runs entirely on paleozoic rocks that are formed from marine sediments, so fossil roots are very unlikely to be present. I agree with the others, being a concretion with iron content.
