Some spoil finds from a few outings into the British Coal measures of Derbyshire.

Thought this last one might be Cordaitanthus ?

Very nice specimens and I think you're right with Cordaitanthus.

They’re beauties! Do you just pop them with a hammer or do you do a freeze-thaw cycle on them first?

Trevor i will be going again but it is hard work digging(sore shoulder!) and finding(needle in a haystack) these fossils

I'm pleased you agree as it is my first piece of Cordaitanthus in all my years of collecting.

On site with a lump hammer,there are a lot of nodules with nothing in them (when i locate them).

Those are all great-fantastic detail! Reminds me of Steve's crazy concretionary material from the UK that he use to post. Congrats! Thanks for showing us.
