Things from Bidart

Hi, i found those things near a place where a friend of mine found ammonites in the Maestritchian of Bidart, Basque country. I really have no clue about what they could be.

The squares beyond are half a centimeter.

 

Here is the first one :

I know it's not an ammonite, but i don't know if it's nothing or something.

Here is the second item :

has the look of a sponge to me but if we could see a pic of the broken end it would help. It also resembles a partial steinkern of Clavagella armata. And now that I've looked at it a third time possibly a concretion with crabby parts peeking out. Sorry for being indecisive. Perhaps someone with local experience will nail it right away.

crabby concretions look more likely now but not definitely.

No problem, i just wondered what those might be. I did found another ammonite about a meter further, too damaged to be identified and very fragile, though it's in a better state than the first i've found there.

Yes, and there are no crabby concretions in this level

Oh, OK, i'll post the pics i have. Sincerely, i said ammonite, but cephalopod would be sufficient, that, of course, unless i'm wrong.

Thanks for showing the ammonite.  Are the oysters on it modern or Cretaceous?  

 

I am also not seeing the crabby thing.

I don't know if the oysters on it are cretaceous or more recent.

I see it... just a cavity but it does look crabby, and the hole above it looks associated.
