Nice teeth from cool localities especially the east coast.

Your hadrosaur tooth from Hill County is Judith River Fm.  Two Medicine is much further west.

Okay thanks for the help on narrowing down the formation. I got confused when I bought the tooth because the formation when I bought it 5 or so years ago had Judith River Formation but when they sent it, labeled it as Two Medicine. Is the reason why it’s important to have better provenance.

A very unique, fully rooted sauropod tooth from the Jurassic of England. Has characteristics similar to Neosauropoda:

Sauropod indet.

(Neosauropoda?)

Jurassic (Kimmeridgian)

Kimmeridge Clay

Pewsey, Wiltshire, England

Thanks Jai. Lots of anticipation with this one and am especially fond with it because it’s my first fully rooted tooth.

Thank you and can say you have a fantastic collection yourself :)

It's funny you mention the anky tooth from Judith River because I had it tucked away in my collection for several years.  It wasn't until I came around to making that post that I realized the condition it was in and that I even owned a Zuul/Judith River Anky tooth!

Thank you. We are pretty happy but have a ways to go yet.

That is awesome. It is a good thing you realized that. It is a really cool dinosaur fossil to have.

Thanks Frank!  Still need a hadrosaur tooth from Two Medicine formation and maybe one from Javelina (never seen one from Javelina before though).  After that, it is purely based on luck getting hadrosaur teeth from new locations/formations.

Upon further inspection and looking from geological maps (I have the exact location it was found), it actually appears to be from the Ozan Formation.

The TM is a lot easier than the Javelina.  Problem is that it overlies the Aguja Fm and can easily be mixed up unless you know how to distinguish  the two..   You dont see much from the Ozan F, so thats cool.
