wendyeeeo
I found this rock when walking near the Trinity River in Dallas, TX. It could have been brought in with gravel used to make a trail, since I found it by a trail. It's probably just a concretion, but the patterns are interesting! Anyone know what it is? Thanks! RJB
Most certainly not an egg, and does not look like any kind of fossil, so a rock of some kind. RB
Tidgy's Dad
Agreed. River eroded rock of some sort. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Fossildude19
I agree. Sorry, not an egg. No eggshell structure/texture. Rind is much too thick to be eggshell. Looks like a chert nodule/concretion.
