A clutch of dinosaur eggs found in Mississippian age rock! I’m going to be rich with this discovery. Let’s start the bidding war at 1 Million USD… :P

Each, or for the lot--it makes a difference. :default_rofl:

Florida dinosaur eggs aren't worth as much as they are SO COMMON. :P

Cheers.

I'd like to see what's in them.   Obviously not eggs but the roundness usually signifies a preservance inside.  Ammonites???

I’m not trying to be greedy. I’ll sell them by the lot. :P

Nothing but layers inside, unfortunately. :(

These concretions are quite common here and I’ve never found anything identifiable. In some of them you can tell that there was something in the center to start the process, but it’s so distorted that it’s unrecognizable.

We joke, but this picture will probably show up on Google now as a fossilized brain. :heartylaugh: Someone will find it when using Google Lens to ID their rocks.

My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

Someone will train the Google Lens AI with this "brain" so that future fossil identifications will be even less useful. A textbook example of GIGO (Garbage In/Garbage Out). ;)

Cheers.
