Some see a wolf, but to my well trained eye is this clearly a rare dragon egg.

I just found this thread. Sure is a lot of rocks out there that are just that.......Rocks.

I have posted my Stone Headbone many times, is it worthwhile to post it here as well?

Why not?

It is a nice piece. It is a skull. Just mummified and you are not used to seeing them because it is rare. It is not a fossilized tooth, which would be the only other thing it can be. Did I miss my bus, the short bus.  It is possible. Haha

Fossil skulls are typically not solid like your specimen.

It’s a rock!

I think @jason3124fish35 figured that out, considering where He chose to post this "skull".:headscratch:

Rather than throwing away your rock for the garden, you'd better give it to me, i'll offer you the post tax.

Too bad it is so worn, you might have been able to get a species on that Mike...but given the environment, I'm guessing it to be the less valiant water turkey (Anhinga anhinga)

Nice "ammo", it must be a Pseudoceras wishfulli :P

Just realized that this pseudo-fossil would be in good company here. Something looks slightly off on that left specimen of a Cookiecutter Shark, Isistius triangulus, tooth. :doh!: Made me pause and do a double-take when I first found it.

Cheers.

Disagree with owlite, that is clearly a fossil arctic fox.

You know, i found those stones while prospecting near Lourdes, so, why not a miracle ? The discover of a new species : owlofoxite or foxoowlite ?
