DanJeavs
A little Hildoceras I picked up recently from Saltwick Bay in Whitby. Unfortunately I didn’t take any before pictures to show. All that was showing was the top of the keel and a small portion of the outer whorl. It’s be no means finished yet, but thought people might enjoy the process so far. Iv prepped out some of the matrix underneath to give the ammonite a floating effect.

I'll have to give it a measure tomorrow. Not my biggest by any means, but as far as preservation and mouth border I can't really ask for anything more. Should hopefully get it finished tomorrow

DanJeavs
The ‘almost’ finished article. Just a little abraiding left to do to tidy up some parts where I just can’t touch with the pen.

Any pictures pal? Be interested to see if the mouth borders are similar. A lot of mine tend to have pieces of the mouth missing from where it's though that Lobsters would cut in to pull out that delicious ammonite

DeepTimeIsotopes
It’s looking great. Did you have to add a gloss to it or does it naturally shine up like that? 1 Each dot is 50,000,000 years: Hadean............Archean..............................Proterozoic.......................................Phanerozoic...........
