Almost sounds like a "bait & switch". Show you a valuable item & send an equal or less value item (usually less) when the original gets broken, misplaced or lost in the mail. If it was mine it looks to be a fare exchange regarding specimens. To me it looks no better or worse than the one you ordered. Are you happy with it? If not let the seller know? Solitary fish jaws are usually labeled as Enchodus jaws, but the original you were supposed to get does not look like an Enchodus jaw to me. The one you did receive may be Enchodus.
