Dean Frazier

I found this rock at an estate sale and am curious if it is a fossil. It is certainly the most unusual rock that I have found.  I would appreciate any help someone wants to offer.  Thank you!  Dean

Welcome to the Forum. :) 

 

It looks to me like a weathered sedimentary rock, concretion, or possibly at best a broken steinkern
