Scottnokes2015
Hi, everyone Thanks Tim for your help earlier Im working on some shale from the Utah, Udig fossil quarry, Wheeler shale. When I opened one piece of shale, the black sqiggly lines were there and I wondered are they some type of worm trace. Images 2 is about the best I could get. Macrophyseter
Have you tried refreshing the page (After saving the written contents, of course although it should autosave)? One possibility that I have been dealing with is that the image file may be glitchy. Try uploading a different image and see if it works. I'm guessing that if it uploads any other image fine, the image you're trying to upload may be glitched If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM! snolly50
I can't be sure, but perhaps the black lines are the edge-on view of trilobite carapace fragments layered in the matrix. Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, also are remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. - Douglas Adams, Last Chance to See
