PSchleis Posted January 9, 2019 Share Posted January 9, 2019 It was a great day of discover on Myrtle Beach for me. Hope ya'all don't mind the multiple posts. Here's another one. Is this bone? One side is flat and kind of striated, the other side is porous. Am I looking at outer bone on the flat side, and the porous marrowy middle on the other side? That would totally explain why the flattish smoother side is actually curved just slightly. I looked up a couple of other pictures of turtle plastron and they look a lot like this.
