Place the object on a solid colored background that contrasts with the fossil (not the same color). Take the pictures from straight on from all sides (think cube). Show the whole piece with a scale (ruler preferred). Show close up of any details You think may help to determine an ID. Thanks, Tony Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys."
