I know that T. rex used to be considered the biggest meat eating theropod dinosaur until the discovery of Giganotosaurus, but Spinosaurus is now considered the biggest theropod of all time. Who first considered Spinosaurus to be larger than T. rex. Is it possible that the emergence of giant carcharodontosaurs and tyrannosaurs in North America and Asia prompted ankylosaurids to develop tail clubs to fend off those predators.

Gotta vote for the home team. :)

Which means if other people also do, we'll lose.

Since my mother in law is not listed, I picked T-Rex.

Biggest as in height or length or weight. Maybe the spino wins height but sorta cheats with its spines?

I think my favourite is the Brilliant Trex. I'm more of a marine reptile type of guy though ;)

In my opinion, sometimes people become to fixated with T-Rex. (It is not a bad thing, no insult meant) So, I chose Carcharodontosaurus because of it's connection to sharks! :)
