ggg
Wow! What fast response on this forum! Thanks MOTM. Two more questions... which may be silly...I'm not a collector and know nothing about fossils How old could this be? (very rough estimate/range) How much is it worth? I think I'd like to sell it via classifieds Cheers,
Kane
The species of trilobite is Crotalocephalina gibbus. It is from the Devonian (~359-419 mya), and was found in Morocco. They are fairly common. As per Forum rules we do not provide appraisals here. If you wish to have a relative idea of how much these trilobites sell for, you can look at how they are priced on online auction sites. 3 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
ggg
Thanks Kane. Sorry about the question re: appraisal. I must confess I hadn't reviewed the forum rules. This has been very helpful and I'll proceed as you suggested. Cheers!
