Fossil Claw
Just curious. I keep seeing these hand mined boney crab fossils from the green river formation from Chinese sellers on an auction site. I have also seen them listed as from Madagascar. They don't look like green river fossils. Just wondering if they are real and where they actually come from.
gigantoraptor
Seems to be Macrophtalmus sp. from the pliocene layers of the Majunga province in Madagascar. Definitily not GRF .
FossilsAnonymous
Yes, I just received one of those. I agree with @gigantoraptor, Macrophtalmus sp. from Majunga. Fortunately, mine came labeled and was almost in the exact same condition. 2 On The Hunt For The Trophy Otodus!
