A tiny shark - neighbour of Sue, the T-rex

Very interesting. I used to really like the video game Galaga when I was in my early 20's long long ago. So a shark named after it, how cool!

Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt
behind the trailer, my desert
Them red clay piles are heaven on earth
I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt

That's really neat. Changes our perspective of Sue's surroundings.

Hi Don,

Yeah, I never really got into video games.  My younger brothers were more into them but I liked Galaga and that submarine game I think was called "Sea Wolf."

The thing that surprised me about the article was that the researchers were surprised to find a shark tooth.  People have been finding shark and ray teeth in the Hell Creek for decades.  Archibald (1996) noted the various forms found during his research.  Galagadon could be the one he listed as ?Orectolobiformes (Archibald, 1996: 84).  I want to find that article now.

Hey Jess, while I was aware that shark teeth were "relatively common" finds in the hell Creek, I just kind of figured it was indeed something new. I would be interested in that article also.
