Hello all,

I'm from Italy ( not too far from Bolca) and recently  my passion for fossils was re-ignited having time and resources to dedicate to it. I've also a passion for Victorian age paleontology overall its art and prints, from ealy depictions of animal to fossils themselves.

Victorian age paleontology overall

Me too. I love the illustrations of this time and of course the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs.  Victorian’s also did a good line in  Curiosity Cabinets or wunderkammer .

Hi @ReptileTooth!

I just checked a map and you're not too far from where my parents are originally from in Italy: my mom is from Campigo (Castelfranco) and my dad is from Vittorio Veneto - what a small world!

I also noticed that you're in an area that's famous for its fossil fish - known as "La Pesciara" ("The Fishbowl") - amazing!  Do you have any fossil pictures to share?

Welcome to the forum from Canada!
