Rockwood Posted January 24, 2019 Share Posted January 24, 2019 Could be a trace fossil. Worm fossils do exist, but their burrowing activity as a trace is far more common. Mucus helps facilitate the process. Other body shapes are also quite capable of leaving trace fossils too, so it's not really possible to say this is a worm trace.
