indominus rex
Hello, I’m wondering if this is actually a Baryonyx vertebra. It was found in Wealden formation, Sussex England. Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils.
indominus rex
And if possible I’d like to know if this is a Sauropod vertebra. From the same location. Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils.
LordTrilobite
I think you might be right. That first vertebra does look like a Spinosaurid dorsal vertebra. Here are some dorsal vertebrae examples of the holotype of Baryonyx. Baryonyx caudal verts. That second vertebra does also indeed look like a caudal vertebra of a Sauropod. Very nice pieces! 6 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite

Jonwealden
The spinosaur vertebra was found near Bexhill, East sussex. I know because i found it , way back about 2005. Its from a juvenile, obviously. Unworn , uncommon for a beach find ! 1 In the footsteps of Mantell and Anning, searching for dinosaur with a passion !
